Responsibility. (from the lat respondere) n. the trait of being answerable to someone for something or being responsible for one's conduct; a form of trustworthiness.
We must be certain that, before a choice, we chose what is best for both of us and not just the best for each one. Each employee is responsible for his negotiated activity and co-responsible if the co-worker does not fulfil his own task, thus preventing the common goal. A team is a set of individuals - is a whole. In the business game, as in social or family contexts, everyone must comply with their own relative position and we shall not permit that one of ours fails to be in our team.
We worry because, as the song by the Portuguese singer António Variações goes, “we are only doing well where we are not” (Estou bem / Aonde não estou). We are only doing well in this utopia that we have not yet reached, but which we are moving towards in leaps and bounds every day. We lace everyday routines with poems, provocative readings and heated discussions. We question reality in order to invent an alternative one, because we want to be the ones to invent this, we want to be the ones to imagine a new world and live in it. A new world, which is inclusive, multicultural, diverse, infinite in the specific nature of each one of us.
Our strategy is to be attentive, to reject ideological blindness, to do away with social prejudice, to be a mirror of the world, which is so diverse in gender, ethnicity, age, origin, economic situation or role.
