There is no "more or less levelled", "more or less upright”, "more or less clean" or "more or less safe", but rather “levelled”, "upright”, "clean” and “safe". The rigour is reflected in our procedures, in time and in the rules to follow. In the light of moral and principles, being severe means being rigorous.

A team is a set of individuals - is a whole. In the business game, as in social or family contexts, everyone must comply with their own relative position and we shall not permit that one of ours fails to be in our team.

The solar energy solutions arm of the Braga-based group will install photovoltaic plants at Cinca, RAR, Lusosider, EDIA, MCM and IPVC, and expects to close the fiscal year with a turnover 50% higher than the €17.9 million recorded last year.
After two years in the region of €16 million, and having closed the last financial year with a turnover of €17.9 million, dst solar expects to end 2025 with “growth exceeding 50%, as part of the company’s strategy which focuses on a strategic vision centred on working to lead energy transition”, affirmed Ricardo Cortinhas, Executive Director of the dst group’s solar energy solutions arm, in statements made to Jornal de Negócios.
This summer alone, dst solar was awarded projects to create photovoltaic power plants across six business groups, representing a total investment of €20.6 million.
The most recent project, worth €3.7 million euros and expected to be completed by the end of the year, is with Cinca ceramics and involves the removal of old asbestos roofs and the installation of 5142 photovoltaic panels across the newly refurbished roofs.
According to dst solar, the Cinca project is a large-scale example of a zero-investment model for the client, where the Braga-based company is also responsible for supplying and building a 4 MW photovoltaic plant, and where the investment is recovered through efficiency gains generated by the installation.
Before Cinca, dst solar had already secured two major contracts: a 10.2 MW self-consumption photovoltaic park at the Lusosider facility in Seixal, forming an investment of €8.5 million; and nine solar installations for EDIA - Empresa de Desenvolvimento e Infraestruturas do Alqueva. Five of these feature floating structures (4.5 MW) and four use tracker-type structures, located in Beja, Brinches, Cuba and Serpa, with a total installed capacity of 3.5 MW, forming a total investment of €7.5 million.
On a smaller scale, dst solar also developed two self-consumption projects for the RAR group (€312 000), two photovoltaic plants for the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo (€33 000) and another for MCM (Mário da Costa Martins & Filho) with 771 kW of power, along with an energy storage system with a capacity of 860 kWh, involving an investment of €660 000.
Specialised in providing engineering services in the field of design, supply, execution, operation and maintenance in the solar energy sector, the dst group company is involved in various R&D projects. These include NGS – New Generation Storage, with an estimated investment of €194 million, which aims to create a new generation of energy storage systems aligned with the European Union’s energy strategy by 2040; and Baterias 2030, led by dst solar and budgeted at €8.1 million, which is focused on developing new storage solutions.
The director of DST Solar also announced the company’s involvement in projects such as Smartglow, “a microgrid-based system for optimising renewable self-consumption”; Building Hope, “a holistic optimisation tool for improving the energy efficiency of buildings”; and Smart-PV, “an AI-powered predictive platform for early fault detection in photovoltaic parks, enabling preventive action and reducing energy losses”.
