A solidary company is recognized as a fair and non-selfish company. A solidary company is a preferred choice in business. It is a more competitive company. Volunteering is a vehicle to solidarity. It is modern, fair, cultured, friend, it is a noble gesture of moral elevation.

A team is a set of individuals - is a whole. In the business game, as in social or family contexts, everyone must comply with their own relative position and we shall not permit that one of ours fails to be in our team.

Construir
Dstgroup, headed by José Teixeira, aims to be a disruptive and strategic presence at the Venice Biennale of Architecture and the Triennale Milano, spearheading a new way of thinking in the construction industry on an international level.
Through its participation in these two events, the Biennale in Venice, which opens this Saturday, 10 May, and Triennale Milano, which starts three days later, the Portuguese group proposes a new building culture with the ambition to define a European manifesto inspired by social inclusion and committed to urban, environmental and community cohesion.
At the Biennale of Architecture in Venice, dstgroup is supporting the Holy See’s “Open Work” project, commissioned by Cardinal José Tolentino de Mendonça.
It is a symbolic and physical intervention in a working-class neighbourhood of Venice, where the restoration of an existing structure, an 18th century shrine, is the starting point for a deeper reflection on reuse, sharing and regeneration. The restoration work will progress day by day, in public view. Music also plays a special role: several spaces will be dedicated to young musicians from Venice and the rest of the world, who will visit the Pavilion.
This project is inspired by Pope Francis’ encyclical letter ‘Laudato Si’ and calls for a “new collective intelligence” about the spaces with inhabit.
Three days later, on 13 May, dstgroup presents two industrial construction modules as part of the “Inequalities” exhibition by the Norman Foster Foundation at Triennale Milano.
These prototypes represent a new paradigm in construction, which combines the precision of industrial manufacturing with the poetics of architectural auteurism.
“Our appearance in Italy represents an underlying desire for the construction sector to dream big, as we believe the time has come to launch a new European movement — almost a new Bauhaus — that places architecture at the service of human dignity, sustainability and social justice”, asserts José Teixeira.
Reuse. Reconcile. Reimagine.
The presence of dstgroup at these two prestigious international forums embodies a key concept: “reuse” – not only of materials or structures, but also ideas, spaces, traditions and solutions, harnessing what has already been constructed, physically and symbolically. In this way, reuse becomes a driver of new, inclusive and creative urbanism, restoring community values and combining sustainable manufacturing techniques with urban social thought.
In a break from impersonal standardisation, dstgroup’s industrial model proposes a “new grammar” of construction: modular, affordable, quick, but profoundly human and aesthetic, in other words, a revolutionary approach that reconciles efficiency and beauty, scale and uniqueness, affordability and excellence.
“We don’t just erect structures. We create spaces that enhance the human experience while respecting the planet’s limits”, explains José Teixeira. This vision, already under development at the dstgroup campus in Braga, where Norman Foster himself is designing a microcity, the Living Lab, positions dstgroup as a global leader in sustainable construction, capable of influencing public policy, market practices and academic models.
The Norman Foster Foundation, led by Norman Foster, was invited to participate in the Triennale due to its commitment to promoting interdisciplinary research and thought, connecting architecture, design, technology and the arts to better serve society. Major exhibitions organised by the foundation include the Osvaldo Borsani exhibition at Triennale Milano (2018), Motion. Autos, Art, Architecture at the Guggenheim Museum (2022) and the Norman Foster Exhibition at the Centre Pompidou (2023).
