Rigor. (from the lat. rigore) n. 1. harshness; strength; 2.fig., severity; punctuality; accuracy.

There is no "more or less levelled", "more or less upright”, "more or less clean" or "more or less safe", but rather “levelled”, "upright”, "clean” and “safe". The rigour is reflected in our procedures, in time and in the rules to follow. In the light of moral and principles, being severe means being rigorous.

A solidary company is recognized as a fair and non-selfish company. A solidary company is a preferred choice in business. It is a more competitive company. Volunteering is a vehicle to solidarity. It is modern, fair, cultured, friend, it is a noble gesture of moral elevation.

Courage. (from the lat. coraticum) n. 1. bravery facing danger; intrepidity; to have audacity; 2. moral force before a suffering or setback; 3. [fig.] to input energy when performing a difficult task; perseverance...

Courage is essential in our life. Courage to face less pleasant situations when complex issues come up, not expecting random resolutions.
It is a value that we must highlight as opposed to the fearful, cowardly and laziness.
The courage to react to criticism not with an attitude of demotivation or sadness, but rather to search for the means and the action to overcome its own reason. This kind of courage, which is also an intellectual courage, is highly recommended.

Responsibility. (from the lat respondere) n. the trait of being answerable to someone for something or being responsible for one's conduct; a form of trustworthiness.

We must be certain that, before a choice, we chose what is best for both of us and not just the best for each one. Each employee is responsible for his negotiated activity and co-responsible if the co-worker does not fulfil his own task, thus preventing the common goal. A team is a set of individuals - is a whole. In the business game, as in social or family contexts, everyone must comply with their own relative position and we shall not permit that one of ours fails to be in our team.

Continental Mabor a
Expansion works for the industrial unit of Continental Mabor

The dst group is the company responsible for building the premises that will expand the industrial unit of Continental Mabor, thus meaning a global investment that exceeds 13 million euros. The choice of dst group by the German multinational tyre company reflects the credibility of the company within the construction market in Portugal, being a reference of quality and know-how. This is also a result derived from the strong investment in innovation in what regards the search for solutions that ascribe value to projects and meet the client’s best interest.

The main on-going work undertaken to Continental Mabor is the construction of the new wing for the existing rubber mixing building), with an estimated cost of approximately 7.7 million euros which includes the accomplishment of different works, namely the manufacture and assembly of steel structures and coatings, civil construction works, electric installations, hydraulic components and telecommunications. The different sectors of the group enabled an “in house” production of some steel structures, as ribbed steel bars built by steelgreen (a company from the group specialized on cutting and molding of ribbed steel bars), and steel structures and coatings, produced by bysteel (a company from the group that operates in the scope of steel construction).

The industrial unit for storage of tires, with 41 thousand square meters is also under the responsibility of dst group. This work, with an estimated cost of 4.65 million euros, uses innovative solutions that enable to fulfil the completion deadline, namely the accomplishment of a prefabricated concrete structure and the implementation of ecological solutions for natural ventilation of the area.

For José Teixeira, President of dst group, the selection of our company by a multinational company as Continental Mabor "is the proof that we are cable to carry out all kind of construction works, combining experience and knowledge with the permanent innovation.

We are increasingly recognized within the framework of “turn-key” projects, in which the transversal skills of the Group are a great asset for the development of solutions which guarantee the optimization of our client’s budget ".

It is worth remembering that Continental’s order book to dst group dates back to another contract work, held in 2012, which consisted in earthworks, containment walls, interconnecting walkways and hydraulic infrastructures. This project, budgeted at around 1.3 million euros, implied earth-moving works and installation of containment walls carried out by tgeotecnia (a company from the group focused on geotechnics and foundations).

The company dte, responsible for the electric works and specialties of hydraulic systems, is also engaged in the accomplishment of these projects.

The good relationship established, from the very first project, between the German multinational company and dst settled this sense of business confidence, which already amounts to 13.7 million euros in orders.
